Well I was sick, tired, feelin’ mean thumbing my way to New Orleans. Nothing in my pockets, I was flat broke.  The same damn thing was bugging me, well I was needing to be set free so I had to just pack up and go.

The sky was black the sun was gone, and I was feeling so all alone. Wondering where did we go wrong? But as I look back and I recall, I sure as heck didn’t do it all. You’re just as much to blame as me.
