"When The Snow Falls (Theme for an Alien movie)" lyrics

When The Snow Falls

When the snow falls

And the wind blows cold

When the Winter calls

There are stories to be told

Some of us will make it

Some of us will not

The ice is freezing bodies

Some of us are dead

When the snow falls

And the wind blows cold

Don’t cry to me, don’t pull at me

Don’t sigh at me, don’t look at me

We’re on our own, you’re on your own

‘call to me, don’t pray to me

You save yourself, you slave yourself

You’re on your own, you’re on your own

You’ll die alone, you will

When the snow falls

And the wind blows cold

There’s no one waiting for you

There’s no one who will catch you

There’s no one who will push you

To the place you want to go

You’ve got yourself, you’ve got yourself

You’ve got yourself, you’ve got yourself

When the snow falls

And the wind blows cold

When the Winter calls

There are stories to be told

About my song

Something a little out of the ordinary here, ‘theme for an Aliens movie’. Imagine Ripley and her band of survivours treking accross a barren frozen wasted Earth, they come accross straggling, frightened, half dead refugees. Fleeing from Alien attack and seeking a Saviour. Ripley coldly tells them that ‘some of them wiil make it, some of them will not, some of them are dead…already’. The snow falls.
