Biography

I was born in New Jersey in 1945,as soon as I was old enough to leave I started heading south,now I am settled in Nashville Tennessee.I am a member of NSAI and BMI.My music is very traditional Country,HONKY TONK/I just love it..and every now and then I write Big Band music..due to the fact thats what I was actually raised listening to.When I was real young it was Sinatra,Then I went through the Dylan sound and eventually found my way into real country(not crossover) country.I think I am actually called a mood writer..whatever mood I am in thats what I write.I love all Broadway musicals..due to the fact when I was a child my Dad gave me two choices:either go with him to see a good musical or go to reform school/ well that was a no brainer..but I learned to love them.My music is usually very upbeat and fun..cuz thats who I am!! I write cuz I love it/if somewhere down the line someone wants to record one of my songs..BRAVO for me but if it never happens thats ok too..I have never considered writing as a business ..instead it is just an expensive hobby.Hope you have fun listening to my music/Good Luck to All That Have Songs On Here
